Elizabeth stayed somewhat hidden behind Roran. It made her feel safer to be close to him. As soon as Roran mentioned their village and how it was destroyed by Sy sadness filled her whole body but no more tears would come out. She had cryed so much this day that there was just nothing left.

Keril raised one eyebrow. "Indeed? You survived Sy?" He asked, sceptically. "He is the demon I mentioned, yes. I haven't met him yet, and the people who have met him and survived I could could count on one hand." The girl seemed to be afraid of him. Or maybe she just wanted to be closer to the young man. Eh... If she didn't have a price on her head, he had little interest in her. But the man seemed more talkative, and perhaps had some valueable information. "I am sorry for your loss. We... ahem... I was trying to get to him before something like that happened. Do you have any idea where he might be headed?"

Roran looked at Elizabeth and back to Keril, "Aye, he's headed towards Hongard." He lied not wanting another to get involved with their affair. "We're on our way to warn them. He's coming when the sky is cloaked by shadow. Just as he did to our village. So please move. We have to hurry!" said Roran with authority.

"Terribly sorry. I did not mean to detain you." Keril bowed and moved to one side of the path. "I'll wait around for Sy a bit, I believe. Good luck on saving your skins." With those final parting words, he moved deeper int the shadows of the trees, his clothing camouflaging him well. He stood as still as a statue, so that it was almost impossible to spot him without already knowing he was there. Now came the waiting game, time for him to ponder on what the man said and dissect their conversation, to see if there was some hidden meaning to the words they exchanged.

' Well that is not what I expected to happen in the least. ' The elf thought to herself waiting for the man who had spoken to them to disappear, and as far as she could tell, from where she was she figured he was gone now finding it would be easy enough to walk onto the trail, and perhaps talk to the young couple. That was if she didn't get in their way obviously.

"Thanks." Said Roran with an odd tone as the hunter went back into the foliage. He didn't that Keril had a chance against Sy. No matter how brave he was at heart. Roran turned to Elizabeth, "We must make haste. We've wasted enough time here." He saw movement down the trail. Roran shook his head. "Nothing." he thought to himself.
He made his way down the road. Looking back to make sure Elizabeth followed.
Sy ran off the trail and back into the cover of the forest. Every foot step he took the power of the stone's call seemed to get stronger. "Yes!" he said to himself. "Almost there. The time is near. The Drack shall once again hold power!"

Elizabeth was confused as to why Roran never mentioned that he had what Sy was after. She quickly followed after. As soon as they had reached a safe distance from where they had encountered the hunter she decided she needed to ask. "How come you never told him that you had the stone?" she asked while still moving forword. She knew she would at least feel somewhat safe when they reached the town. Her only fear was thet Roran would leave her there so he could take the stone to some safer place. "He probably could have offered us some safer protection."

"Because....to many lives have been dragged into this already. Even if he were to join us, what was to stop him from taking the stone and giving to to Sy or use the power himself." Roran's head bowed slightly, "It's hard to trust anyone during times like these."

Alexandrya knew where they were going, and decided it was best to wait now, until she got to the town at least to talk to them. Maybe than it would be less of a bother because they would feel safer. She was going at a fast pace hoping to also get there soon, but she stayed back far enough for her elven ears to pick up anything they might say that could be of interest.

With that Roran continued down the beaten rode. Occasionally glancing back at the spot Keril had hidden at. Soon Roran was shadowed by the great stone walls of Hongard. Guards walked a top the walls occasionally glancing down at the denizens of the city. Two Guards were positioned outside the great gate that lead into the port city. As Roran passed by them, they gave him disregarding looks. He felt uneasy entering the city. Security seemed to be bulked up. Perhaps from the light emitted from the stone.
Sy continued through the rough terrain. He pulled his sword from its bind. Hacking and slashing his way through the thick brush. In a fit of anger he shot a jet of flame ahead, burning all in his way. The flame shot out onto the trail that Roran and Elizabeth had taken.

Alexandrya who had taken the path at a leisurely pace. Seeing as she knew where Elizabeth and Royan were going, saw the flame and cursed. He couldn't be far, and she had heard enough to know who he was going after. She didn't know if she should increase speed, and hope to get there before him, and possibly warn the two, if they would hear her. Or if she should be safer, and stay back.
She pondered for a moment as she walked, and soon cut off the path but continued to walk. She would try and beat this man, this beast, monster demon whatever he was she would try and get to the city first. Sure she wasn't a part of this, she didn't stand a chance against him. She owned 2 daggers and she could heal. That was all she could do, the extent of her ability. It wouldn't be too helpful in a battle so she couldn't possibly be a help to protect the two she had seen but a warning might subfise as she increased her pace.

It wasn't too long until Alexandrya could see the city for herself. She hadn't seen a human establishment other than the burnt down village back a little. So none the less it was an amazing site to her. An elvish village never had such tall buildings or such large walls to guard it.
She took her time just to walk into the city. The streets were not dirt any more as she got to the gates. Walking in and looking all around. All most forgetting why she had come in here in the first place. Once it hit her why she immediately began to look around to see if she could spot the two from earlier.
Once she finally did spot them slowly moving along the road, getting some stares none the less. She quicken her step so that she could catch up with them. She didn't think too much of what she would say but she knew she needed to tell them something. So soon she was now behind them. She sighed. "Excuse me?" She asked from behind them.

Roran turned around to find a young female elf. He blinked at the sight of her. What was an elf doing this far out from the homeland. "Erm, what is it miss?"

She sighed. "Well, eh, I don't' know how else to say this than to just come out and do so." She said. "I sort of overheard alot, and for curoistys sake I sort of followed you two." She laughed sheepishly. "Being curious and all, but I heard all about the monster, and I do believe he is closer than you may realize, I saw someone shoot flames on the path to this city, and I think he is looking for you two." She said. Knowing this had to bother him that she knew so much with out him even having the slightest clue who she was. "I figured you two should know that.." She added.

Roran's eyes seemed to shallow and he entered into an unblinking stare. Sy was acting quicker than he had said he would. Roran should of known better than to trust the word of a murderer. "Th-thank you." He managed to reply.
