Elizabeth's mind was racing. He was the only thing left in this world that meant anything to her. She knew without him her life would be meaningless. She looked him in the eye and bravely let go of Sy.
She went in front of Sy blocking her friend. "Okay, I'm off! Now let him go" she said with anger filling her whole body.

Sy held his hand out, "Give me the stone. That's all I want. Then," he held out his arms to the destructive fire burning in the village, "all of this will disappear." He said cooly. "If not, then my dear, the last thing you'll remember is the burning flesh of your lover." Sy spoke of her close friend.
He jabbed his sound into the scrotched soil and waited for their response. Surely they couldn't deny him of what he wanted at that price.

Elizabeth grew even more angry, there were about a million things that she wanted to do to Sy at that moment but she knew she had to hold back.
"You just said that I had to get off" she screamed. "Plus I don't even know what that stupid stone is!"

Sy tapped his finger against the pommel of his sword. The sun was beginning to peak over the forest top. Time wasn't on his side anymore. Surely the hunters would continue their search for him by first light. He scoffed and spat at her feet.
"I don't have time for this!" He grabbed his sword and slammed it into its sheath. Sy held his arms out to the burning destruction of the village and clinched his fists. The fires ceased to burn. Only the trail of smoke ascended into the fiery of colors of the sunrise.
His time was limited with dealing with these two. "If you don't have the stone found by tonight's full moon; I will make sure that you and your lover don't see the light of next day!" With that Sy ran off into the forest only to leave the threat that he had given to Elizabeth and her friend.

Elizabeth took a huge sigh of relief as Sy ran off. She turned quickly toward her truest friend. "What is he after? What does it do?" she asked. Her head was filling with questions that needed to be answered.
"Actually, we just need to get out of here" she said, mostly thinking out loud rather than talking to him. "Let's run away! Let's just leave, he'll never find us!" she said practically begging him.

Elizabeth's friend looked at the destruction that had befallen his hometown. Such ravages couldn't be undone. His view came upon his friend since childhood. A simple nod showed that he agreed with her. But somethings didn't seem to fit. Why didn't Sy just kill them? Why did he run off like that? He simply dismissed these thoughts. "We have to leave and get as far away from here as possible." he said to her. " The stone must be kept from him." in utter silence.

Elizabeth looked at her friend with a questioning look. She didn't expect that to be his reply. "First," she said placing her hands upon her hips, "explain to me this stone thing and where is it?" She was furious about him and her family never telling her about it. "I want answers.....NOW!" she said very sternly.

Roran looked at her uncertainly but knew that he had to tell. It was already to late for her not to know. He took a deep breath and sighed. Memories of his elders telling him the tale seemed to flood slowly back to him.
"Long ago, the land was ruled by the Drack. A family with unnatural powers granted by the gods. They ruled the land with an iron fist. Killing all who opposed their might. They became to greedy and strong for their own good. Siding with demons and gaining their powers." He looked at Elizabeth and turned toward his broken home.
"The people were fed up with all the evil that they had spread across the land. They revolted." His eyes turned cold. "Countless battles, cities, and lives were lost. When all seemed to fail the people found a way to stop the Drack. They discovered a stone." Roran pulled a small stone from his necklace. "This stone." He held a small sapphire stone in his palm. "With this they were able to seal the Drack family away. Or so they thought. Apparently one escaped. Now he plans to take the power of his ancestors back."
Roran put the stone back on his necklace and hid it under his shirt. "The stone had to be moved here recently due to the rumors that a member of the Drack family was alive. It's been proved true."

Elizabeth turned away feeling both angry and confused. She turned back around quickly lightly pushing him on the chest. "Why didn't you tell me?" she asked feeling hurt. "You put me, and my family all in danger for this stupid stone." she said with her voice rising in loudness.

"Why didn't I tell you? It was your father's idea to bring it to our village in the first place!" said Roran. He put his hand on her shoulder to show that he was there for her. "He believed that it would be safe from everyone. Even the elders thought no one would search here. Besides I figured he would of told you. Or I would of myself."
Roran knew that she was hurting. She had lost her family to a lunatic all because of a stone. Roran had to deal with his own losses later, "Everything will be okay Elizabeth."

Elizabeth shook her head yet again in anger. "No, everything is not going to be okay! I lost everything that matters to me and I will probably even lose you." she said as shoved him a little harder in the chest with both hands. She immedietly started to cry as she fell into him wrapping her arms around his neck. "You have to get rid of this stone" she whispered quietly into his ear, "or Sy will definetly kill you."

((So I can't exactly just put my character in the town. So I will place her around there some where so she can interact when it become more plausibale but I can always get her introduction out there.))
Alexandrya walked through the trees. She had been traveling only a week now. Leaving her home just to have a chance to see new things. See Alexandrya was an elf, she lived with her parents and sister in a small elvish community, which wasn't bad, but it was cut off from everything else basically.
She was knowlegable in some things she had read about, and was sick of just reading about things but wanted to experince them first hand. She was also just that sort of person, she was curious and liked to find things out for herself. She was like most elfs tall, fair complection light colored eyes, her hair was a strawberry blonde. Her eyes were light honey colored.
She was normal in most ways, other than she was one of the few elfs from each community who could heal. She couldn't heal fatal wounds. She wasn't that good, and if it was something big she would be rather weak and tired herself but she could do it. She didn't think of these things normally though. She loved to be out here she loved nature. As elfs are compassionate of most living things and were intuned with nature and she was no exception of the rule.
She was wearing robes so to speak. They looked like a long dress almost but really they were robes. The ends of them were dirty from her walking but she could care less she was enjoying herself any how. She had no clue how far the next town was but she knew it couldn't be far and she couldn't wait to get there.

Roran held her. "I know that we have to get rid of it. But if he gets his hands on it he'll surely kill us both." he didn't know what to do. Dawn's light had already reached them. They had to move. "Elizabeth we must leave."
Meanwhile in the forest Sy traveled through the dense brush. Trying to make anyone following lose his trail. "If those damn hunters weren't following me!" He muttered to himself. Ever since rumours Sy's existence have echoed through the land he has been on constant move. Veterans from the war between his family have been on the search for him and discovered him by accident. Though Sy defeated many dozens remained. Ever vigilant of his movements.

Alexandrya continued through the forest, and paused for a moment. Her elven ears naturally made her have decent hearing. She thought she heard some one moving ahead. It was a faint sound the person was either really silent or far off. She listned wondering who else may be in the forest during this time of day. She being the curious sort of person walked from where she was to where she was sure she could catch a glimpse of whomever may be walking through the trees not too far off.

Sy walked through the thick brush. It scraped his hands and legs. Becoming a nuisance to him with every step. He knew that the hunters were searching, watching, just waiting for him to slip. "Gah!" he mutter when his foot became entangled, "I've had enough of this. I don't care if they see me!" With a mighty thrust of his hands two streams of fire shot forward, burning all that was in its path.
He smiled, "Much better." Sy looked around just to be sure no one was there and continued along his burnt trail.
