She gently bit her lower lip and then shook her head and started back towards the city. "We can't get there from here..." she murmured and then reached out and took his hand. She held it the entire way back to the city and then all the way to the barracks and even up to Ed's room. Shara seemed almost depressd. She sighed and then with a look down the hall to make sure it was empty she finally sighed and teasingly kissed his nose. "I'm going to go see if Mustang has anything to keep me busy..." and walked off, obviously distracted.

The FullMetal Alchemist just stood there and looked at his feet. He couldn't help but feel responsible for this. If it hadn't all been for Sorrow. The damned Humanculli started all of this. But what could Ed possible to end the madness. The silence was intrupped by Sorrow's laughter. "So it begins FullMetal. So it all begins." Ed's rage began to boil. He slammed his metal fist hard into the wall. Creating a big hole, "Leave me alone!" His words were screamed at the top of his lungs.
Collasping to the floor Ed muttered with tears in his eyes, "Why?" Sorrow simply replied, "A life for a life." The young alchemist lay on the floor and passed out. Unknown to him someone entered the room and picked him up from the floor. "It worked. I'll give Sorrow his credit." With that they left. Ed was taken without knowledge or fight.

Shara returned to an empty appartment with a look about she turned and ran back to Eve's room. "Eve? Have you seen Edward or Alphonse?" Eve shook her head and Shara frowned. "This isn't good..." "what?" "I don't know. Al's been missing for sometime and now Ed is gone..." "but where could they have gone off to?" "I don't know... I think it was my fault..." "Oh Shara don't say that..." Shara chewed on her lower lip. "I'm going to find him." She said decisevely and then Eve reluctantly fetched a few things and gave them to her sister. "Be careful Shara..." Shara nodded to her sistner's words and headed off.

"So you got them finally. Good work." Came the soft voice of a woman, "It seems that his plan is coming along without a hitch." Soft footsteps drew near. A warm touch pressed againsts Edward's cheek, "Such a cute boy when he's asleep." A deep grunt came from behind the semi-consous alchemist, "Lust, you disgust me." Lust laughed, "All in good fun Envy." Envy gave Lust a cross look, "I say just kill the boy. We've tried before to get the stone with him and failed. He's no use to us." Ed let out a small grunt as he faded in and out of the conversation, "No, we stick to Sorrow's plan."
Sorrow, the name echoed in Edward's mind. It called out to him but it meant nothing. The young alchemist was heavily drugged. Unaware of what was happening. His perception limited to only the voices of the humuncli and the smell of fresh sea water. "Where?" his thoughts dragged on.

It took a while but with a little help from some friends and her alchemy she managed to track Edward down. Of course, being one of the homunculli herself made things a bit easier, finding that she was attracted to where they'd been. Now she perched atop a boulder, watching what was happening. With a sudden idea, she made a circle in the sand and then concentrated, turning the sand into a mock-Philsopher's Stone.
She slid the stone into the brackets on her Auto-mail and then crept out towards the sea. With a splash she was underwater and gone, dissapearing among the waves. She swam till she was almost close to where Ed would be and then dove down into the water. She clapped her hands together and placed them on the ocean floor.
Up above the waves the head of a large dragon lifted out of the sea, it's sharp teeth and delicate scales gleaming in the sunlight. The dragon's neck grew, it's head reaching out to snap at Lust and Envy. The dragon drew it's head back and then sent out a gush of watery flame, that turned to water on the way down, drenching both homunculli and Ed.

"The hell!" cried Envy as the dragon's head jumped from the water. Both Envy and Lust jumped away from the beast as it began to snap at them. "Damn it!" The gushing water sent the pair running back. Ed felt the rush of water as it ran over him. He couldn't react. The rush of water pushed him back. "We have to get the boy." Said Lust. Envy looked at the dragon, "Forget him for now!" he laughed. Lust scoffed, "Very well." Both of the humunculi fled the scene

The dragon watched the two leave and then collapsed back into the sea after they were out of sight...
Something soaking wet trudged up beside Ed and sat down with a runt. Small hands worked at his bonds and a familiar voice was murmuring softly to him. "It's okay ed, they wont be coming back. Score two for the Dragon Alchemist..." Shara paused to tuck ed's bangs behind his ears before she pulled him over her back and straightened. "Gosh Ed, you're heavy.." She complained, heading towards home, carrying Ed piggy back.

The alchemist faded in and out of reality mutter words that wouldn't form right. From all that he could see was a young girl carrying him away from where he had been held. "Thank you." He managed to say finally after they trudge on for a couple of yards. His world began to spin and began to fade. Edward had finally passed out.

"Ed?" A soft voice intruded on his sleep. "oh Edward? are you awake yet?" Shara sat on the bed beside him, tucking his hair behind his ears and stroking his jaw. She watched him, worried about him. It had been at least a day since she's broght him back, now it was time for him to wake up. "Common... wake up..." and then thinking of a good idea she dipped her finger in her glass of milk and let a few drops dribble across his lips. "Milk is good for you, it'll make you grow....''

Laughter rang in Ed's mind. It came from all around him. He found himself standing in white light cloaked in heavy fog. "Where am I?" He couldn't help but ask himself. Lost in the world of his dreams it all seemed so strange. The laughter grew louder. "Who's there?!" His words echoed into nothingness of the world. "Edward...you're mine now."
Jumped from his slumber. Breathing heavy, fear in his eyes. His thoughts barely registered that Shara was next to him. Who was that? It could of been him...Ed steadied himself. His surroundings came into focus. Finally he could rationalize everything.

Shara wrapped her arms around him and stroked his jaw "Edward.... relax..." She murmured softly, having seen the look of pure terror in his eyes not a moment earlier. Gently she slid onto the bed behind him and pulled him down so he was laying in her lap. Still stroking his jaw she looked down at him, worried for him. "You're okay." She murmured again, wishing there was something else she could do for her frightened friend.

"He won't leave me alone! He won't leave me ALONE!" cried Edward as he gripped his head. That beast of a hamunculi was still alive in his mind. Calling him from the otherside of the gate. Edward didn't know why this was happening. It seemed like it was eating away at him from the inside. The vision he saw was haunting. Sorrow stood over his mother's body. Toying with her. Torturing her. A tear ran down the young alchemists face as shiver body quivered in fear and shame.

Seeing nothing she could do for him made her cry herself. "Ed... Please don't do this too me too..." She begged softly. "Please?" and seeing that he wasn't going to respond. She kissed him lovingly and then silently left, dissapearing cat and all....
