eek. I hope I put it in the right place. I apologize if it's not.
Hello, everyone. I am Serynsatina, but I usually go by Sery. Satine, Satina, Serynsa, any of those are all fine too.
I like RPing a lot, especially fantasy. If I get in, I'd probably be lurking around the Fantasy/Medieval Fantasy boards. I like to experiment though, so I'll also be trying out new RP subjects.
I don't have any limits that I'm aware of, but then again, I've only been officially RPing on and off for a few months.
This is a fan-fiction of sorts of the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan....okay. Here goes.
Sery casually tossed her cloak over her shoulder, revealing a long, slender sword. She smiled inwardly at the look in the eyes of the innkeeper and his guards.
"I would like one of your rooms please. A clean one."
"Yes, yes, of course," the innkeeper stuttered. He quickly gestured at a young man passing by, balancing a tray in his hand.
"Matt! Go fetch your sister, boy! We have another customer," he snapped. The boy hastily set the tray down and bowed, then scampered off.
Sery turned and seated herself at a small table in the corner of the inn. She waved away the serving maids and settled down as best as she could in such a place. They say that you could get the money stolen right out of your hands, she mused. She turned her head and met the stare of a scruffy looking boy with ruffled brown hair. He looked away hurriedly. Sery frowned. They were right.
She scanned the room with sharp green eyes. At a table not too far from her own, a traveler sipped his ale. His cloak was tattered in many places, yet he was very handsome. Three tables away, a woman and a man sat opposite each other. The woman was very petite, and her companion wore a green cloak. He sat at ease in his chair, but Sery could tell that his muscles were tensed and he was ready to move should anything happen. Just then, the woman met her eyes. A sharp twinge made Sery flinch, then a thought raced across her mind. Aes Sedai.
Even as she thought it, she shook her head. No. Any Aes Sedai staying in this place would have to be one of the weakest and poorest trained. And yet...Sery wondered what was in the woman's bag, and if the man was her Warder.
Her father often told stories of Aes Sedai, not only of their part in the Breaking, but also good stories of their powers, of the One Source. Sery knew that her aunt Lilasa was the great granddaughter of Nynaeve Sedai, second in power only to the Amyrlin Seat of that time.
A maid approached Sery.
"Miss, your room is ready."
Sery nodded. Giving the woman and the man one last glance, she followed the maid up the winding, creaking stairs.
