No one really ever notices her, the girl that sits on the front steps every morning. The strange one, with the deep green eyes, and the long brown hair. The one who you can't seem to stop looking at, until she looks back at you, then you shoot your glance back down to the stone underneath your feet. But that’s only for the occasional person who just happens to glance at her, because no one really ever notices her…Right.
She sat on the front steps of the massive building behind her, humming along to the song blaring through the headphones plugged into her Ipod, and staring at the people passing by. Spotting a new family, she swings her head in their direction, and watches them go up and into the building, staring back, then finally stands up. Stretching and readjusting her black jeans she begins the short trek up the stairs and into the building. It being the weekend, there was nearly no one around, so she basically had the place to herself. She took advantage of this every chance she could. It wasn't her choice to be sent to this place she was supposed to be calling home. Truthfully, she didn't mind it, but she made sure she gave her parents hell for sending her off, without even talking with her about it. She guessed it was probably good for her; she needed a better "learning environment," as her parents put it.
Sighing, she gives up on trying to find anything good to do and plops down into a chair, then stares up at the elaborate ceiling. "Nahia Brennan you really need to find yourself something to do, or maybe some people to meet," she mumbles to herself, then closes her eyes, ready to laze away the evening

{{I always feel so rude barging in on RPs.....*twitch* and I'm new here...so I don't know peoples reactions to randomly jumping in...heh }} A short girl of at most 5'5 walked through the commons of the school, adorned with an overly-large Cannibal Corpse T-shirt, and long baggy black and red bondage pants that seemed to drown out her petite 100lb frame. She had spikey black hair, with long red bangs that covered most of her face and fell to her chin. Her brilliant green eyes were lined heavily with coal-black liner, and deep purple eyeshadow made the green even more vibrant. She didn't smile, seeming generally vapid of emotion, even her walk was almost mechanical, as she listened to the music blasting from her tiny ear-buds that connected to her mp3 player, clipped onto her pants. Her eyes, on the other hand, held an intense fire in them, and as she gazed around herself quietly, she looked for anyone she deemed intriguing enough to lavish her attentions on.

Ooc: Same here 0_o)) Bic A light sigh, a sheepish "It's alright daddy" and she had him in the bag, she didn't have to really pay much attention.
The teen sat cross-legged against a wall inside the large building a light blue cell phone pressed to her ear. Pushing back shoulder length blonde hair, Katelyn rolled her light blue eyes.
"Daddy, I get it, a business meeting it's okay I had plans this weekend anyways.." She covered the mouth piece and groaned she hated lying to him.
"Daddy...daddy! How's Billy? And Carson and Carmon? Good tell them I said hey and I love them..I have to go now daddy..yeah alright next weekend. Bye, love you too!" it was all said with a slight country drawl.
Another boring weekend, another weekend her family couldn't make it. Kat short for Katelyn was an odd girl, she just didn't seem to fit in at this school. She was pretty, but ordinary pretty not fantastically so, she had a heart-shaped face with big, bright, blue eyes and shoulder length hair. Her skin was slightly tan with a nose sprinkled with light brown freckles and her arms bore several darker ones. Today she wore a pair of faded blue jeans, a light blue tank top and black flip-flops.
Leaning her head against the wall she sighed letting her cell phone drop to the ground with a clatter, she didn't care, let it break, her father would just buy her a new one.
'We'll visit every weekend, I promise Kitty' that had been her father's exact words and she had hung onto those words, waiting so impatiently for the weekends to see her family. She was shy to admit it but she was a daddy's girl, her mother had died when she was eight now her being 17 she'd been motherless and basically taken over the role as mother to her older twin brothers Carson and Carmon, both 21 now and her baby brother Billy. It had been easy, wake the three up, make sure they had money for lunches and other things for school, then make sure Billy caught the bus and her brothers where still around to give her a ride to school. That was easy until her daddy had sent her to boarding school.
"No daughter of mine is going to be educated in a public school." He'd said that before the weekend promise but she'd pretty much given up on that, she'd easily learned to dodge her father's millions of apologies and kept herself out of trouble. She was a proud all A student, a ballerina and a excellent swimmer on the swim team. She kept herself busy so as not to think of how much she hated it here.

Not far from the blond-haired girl, Raeyn (just noticed I didn't have my char's name in here...teehee ;D) paused and bent down to pick up the discarded cell phone, her long black nails contrasting starkly to the light blue of the plastic. She yanked a crimson red ear bud from her ear and let it fall, mumbling from between strawberry-glazed lips, her tongue ring and the spikes that formed what was called "snake bites" in her lower lip shining gently as she did, "Dropped yer phone, doll." her voice was quiet and airy, more of a loud whisper than anything. and she held the phone out to the other lips reforming into a thin line as she stopped speaking, her left brow quirked slightly, giving her a condescending look.

Kat looked up and blinked, she'd never been called 'doll' before and it was..weird. She smiled slightly studying Raeyn for a moment before taking it "Thanks" She thought for a moment racking her brain to remember if she'd seen this particular girl before, maybe in one of her classes but no. Art class prehaps..no the only other girls in there didn't own a pair of clothing without paint stains and as it seemed this girl's clothes where paint-free.
"Are you..new?' she finally inquired deciding this was defiantly a new face.

Raeyn nodded faintly, "Yeah....my grandparents passed a few months ago and my aunt decided she didn't want to deal with my "attitude" issues..." a hint of a smirk crossed her lips and she bounced the phone slightly infront of the girl, "Don't want your phone?"

Kat laughed slightly before reaching up and taking the cell. "With my luck, it's broken" She flipped it open then closed it and sighed "Nope, it's alright. Well, welcome to our..err humble abode. I'm Katelyn"

ooc: Wow...Didn't expect to see anyone here! Hi! Sorry I haven't posted!
Nahia, slightly dazed, being that she had actually fallen asleep, sat up slowly, hearing a familiar voice, along with a new one. She didn't care to talk to people much, but that didn't keep her from being familiar with faces, and sometimes even voices. It just so happened that the one familiar voice is in one of her classes. Looking around, she finally spots two girls talking to each other, one of which is obviously new. Placing her feet softly back on solid ground, she stretches, then slowly begins walking towards the girls.
Stopping a few feet from them, she listens to their short conversation.

Humble abode?" her eyes scraped along their surroundings in much the same manner that a plastic surgeon would remove tissue from bone..."Humble abode makes me think a small cabin in the woods...or a cavern in some lost mountainplace....not a stuck up prissy boarding school....this is more like hell." she sported a sarcastic grin with her words and nodded airily..."I'm Hex..." as she heard the other approach she turned faintly...as though uncomfortable with people walking up out of her view....and clenched her fingers so her knuckles cracked lightly...shifting from foot to foot a bit..."so...not too fond of this place yerself?

Kat scrunched her nose "Naw, it's a place where parents or guardians send their kids when they dont want to deal with them any more" She knew it was only half right, and wrong in her case, but she still held a grudge towards her father. 'it's alomst as bad as abandonment" She stashed her phone in her back pocket as she stood. "So you got full tuition here or only half school year or what?"

Jeremy sat cross legged on the end of the stone wall on the stairs. He was listening to the girls' conversation. He could definately agree with what they were saying. This was hell, or perhaps hell was better than this. He got away with eavesdropping often, since no one ever noticed he was even there. He wore baggy black pants with numerous pockets, and carried his bag and mp3 player around everywhere. He wore a black hoodie and had the hood up most of the time. No one in the whole school could tell you who he was or what he looked like. They all went on with their busy lives. No one knew why he was here or where he came from, since he talked to no one.

Hex leaned gently against the wall, eyeing the blond a moment, "In some ways, it's far too true what you say.." she offered an actual smile for once, "and at the same time....far too wrong.....They still have to pay for us." she glanced around a bit...shrugging. "I'm here on full...she shook her head, "But i doubt i'll be here long.....I'm not one who bends all too well to the authority of pompus assholes....How long've you been here?"

Kat grinned up at Hex. "You wont like our discipline policy thats for sure." she shook her head in amusement "This is my second year here, It's not all that bad once you find your way around and, though it's still not home, and the cooks put a new meaning on cafeteria food wait to you get a load on Thursday's menu" She wrinkled her nose again placing her hand to her throat as if she where gagging. "It's absolutely horrible."

Young Lynelle pulled her two big bags up the steps with utter frustration. "Why couldn't someone be kind enough to give me a hand, or a mocha!" she asked to no one in particular. Her light blonde hair was up in a bun, and her light brown eyes looked around for someone to help her. She struggled to keep from falling as she pulled at her suitcases. She wore a pink tee and a black pair of pants, and it was obvious that she cared how she looked. She let out a grunt as she gave one big heave, but she accidently let go of her bags and her pull sent her flying down the steps, her luggage falling after her. She pulled a strand of hair from her face angrily.

Nahia couldn't help but laugh at the familiar girl's comment. "Sorry, I couldn't help but overhear. I'm Nahia Brennan. But you're right, hell's a good way to describe this place, but then there are some moments that aren't all too bad. This place is perfect for parents to drop a kid off, to have nearly nothing to do with them anymore, but still pretend like they care." Nahia had stepped forward a bit more, and settled herself leaning against one of the many columns in the school. "I've been here for going on two years myself. Really, the rules aren't so bad once you get used to them...That's only if you get used to them." She flashes a rare smile and sighs.
