Lisa watched as Cariñoso walked away. "Good." She thought. She looked over to see Diabla walking towards the bucket that Cariñoso had put out for her. She shook her head, bribing the horse with treats was against what she believed in when it came to taming horses. Her strategy wouldn't work with Cariñoso interfering. She jumped over the fence with graceful ease. When she landed, she began walking towards Cariñoso, half walking, half running to catch up with him. "Hey!" She called. "Why'd you do that?"

The male rubbed his eyes as he seemed to be half asleep and deeply lost in thought. Faintly hearing a voice, he turned to look toward Lisa coming toward him. 'Oh boy,' he thought as he shoved a fist into his pocket, green eyes turned hard just slightly as he watched her warily. 'What now?' Sighing, he rolled his shoulders back as he finally came to a full turn. "What did I do wrong now being as you seem to know everything beneath your belt," he said with slight poison in his tone. Typically he would be respectful and hear out those he was having problems with. Only meeting Lisa once, he did feel slightly awkward around her. But now, he seemed to have lost that feeling as years of experience seemed ripped away from this female.
Diabla began to pick her way through, finding a big juicy red apple that she locked her teeth into, pulling in out as she prepared to take a bite from it. Watching Lisa walk by, hooves turned her rump toward her, seeming to ignore the female as she munched away happily.

Lisa's anger burned brighter now. "I never said I knew everything, but I disagree with your taming practices, and I don't appreciate it when you try and save me like some knight in shining armour. Because I can take care of myself." She met his anger with hers, fire with fire.

Crossing his arms over his chest, he allowed his emeralds to stare into her's without nothing to be said in the gaze. "You act like you know a lot," he muttered while looking away from her. "The way I tame is my business." Eyes traveled back towards Lisa as his pupils met her's. For a brief moment, he froze up as a faint image of a horse played through his mind. Like he had seen in ghost play in her dark pupils, he watched as the hooves flew through the air, suddenly taking a heavy carve into his chest. With a sharp breath, he allowed one hand to come towards his upper chest, allowing a few coughs to escape forth passed his lips.
Cariñoso slowly put his arms back into his dark pockets, closing his eyes briefly as he waited for the pain and memory to subside. Then, he finally spoke, though his voice seemed to be more silent and weaker than before. "I didn't mean for it to seem like that. If I offended you, than I am sorry."
Slowly he turned, ready to head back into the main office, now with a worried look that hid on his face as he tried not to put a hand onto his chest again. "But I rather not to hear your father yell at me for standing there and letting the horse harm you." Without another word, he headed off, pushing himself through the doors.

Lisa's anger flared up when he told her she acted like she knew a lot. She opened her mouth to protest, but stopped when she saw him put his hand to his chest. Her brow furrowed in confusion. When he apologized, her anger melted, the pain on his face was unbearable to watch. As he turned away, she tried to fight the urge to run over and hug him, her heart hurt for the him, she could see his pain written so clearly on his face. Fighting part of the urge, she ran to keep up with him, but refrained from hugging him. She put a hand on his arm. "I'm sorry too. Don't go."

With one hand on the door, the mexican slowly stopped to look at Lisa with a brief moment of a confused, yet slightly, bewildered gaze. Scratching his head slightly, he held the door open for her as he continued to walk into the building. "Its alright. Um..... Don't go? Don't go....where? I just need to get some...." He paused for a brief moment. She had already seen the look on his face, so obviously she know knew something was wrong. "I just need to get some of my medicine right now, that's all." A small smile formed on his lips as he walked into a different room of the office, heading towards a corner where a black backpack leaned against the wall.
With a small sigh, he stooped down to retrieve the bag, unzipping it as he began to search through his contents. Being as there seemed to be a lot in there, he ignored the fact that his wallet fell out and landed beside his feet. Once it hit the floor though, it opened up to a place where he had pictures of what seemed like many horses. But, as memory stung him, the picture it landed on was a horse he tamed a just a few months back. A powerful, large stallion that was just about as violent as Diabla, though this picture showed a great difference. Cariñoso was actually sitting on this creature....with his hand on his chest. Same place he touched moments before.
Rattling inside a container, the boy pulled out pain killers with a bottle of water as well as cream that seemed to be used for healing scars.
Taking two of the pills out and chugging them down with a mouthfull of water, he seemed to grunt with slight pain as he slowly pulled off his dress shirt, staring down at a crescent-like mark that carved its way deeping into the right part of his upper chest. "Jesus.... Why?" He asked himself in a whisper as he poured a little bit of cream onto his fingers, gingerly rubbing it into the new wound/scar.
