A few poems. By me. Lol!
"Everynight"
the morning comes too soon
another day to face
not me, not alone...
gods, i can only pray now
when night will come once again
and keep me from these people
all of them who hurt me...
and everynight
i cry
and everynight
i bleed
a little more of me
fading away
fading...
the gods dont answer me
either way
so i dont believe in prayer
i just cant pray
a waste of precious time
running out so fast
as i wait in time
for night to come
and everynight
i cry
and everynight
i bleed
a little more of me
fading away
fading...
with each cut of this knife against my wrist
my throat, my legs, my chest
each cut deeper
begging my souls depature
i am trying to work up the courage
to leave this world
to take the final plunge
and bleed all my pain away
and on this night
i cry...
and on this night
i bleed
laying on the ground
surrounded
a little more of me
what's left of me
fading away
fading...

"Untitled"
We need to cure the curse
Destroy the demons
Violate the virus
That's keeping us held hostage
From our own mentality.
We need to eliminate all fear
To spread our wings and fly
Fly higher than the others
But not striving for Perfection.
Just overall happiness.
We are clipped birds
Unable to soar.
We are bound animals
By chain, by rope
Of the mind.
We are green-eyed monsters
To watch others when they are happy
To envy them
To hate them
For what we don't have.
...But can
There are all kinds in the world
Some who help us, feed us
Nourish us
So that we can fly.
And some who sever our wings,
Beat us down
And we don't know why.
We can spend our whole life looking
For answers, for help
For people who don't alienate us
From everyone else.
But does it help?
How does it feel
When someone
One of 'Your People'
Is right under your nose the whole time
But you never knew it
Not until now?
They give us strength
Give us courage
Because of what they've accomplished
All hope is not lost.
We can see them
See what they've done
And we know we can do the same.
We can fly, afterall.
Even if we've been clipped
Knocked down.
Our wings will grow again
Grow stronger than before
And we will get up
And we will thrive.
