(this is a small (not very detailed.. sorry, on the shepard case, just in case your characters want to say 'hey! your that kid from the shepard case!', but here's the info.)
Cain sprinted toward the door of the burning building. Smoke erupted outside as the hinges of the door splintered and the door collapsed on the ground. Inside he saw what he hoped he would never see. Cain tried to run in, but the house crackled then collapsed in front of him. A small board began to collapse toward him, but he side stepped and it smashed into the dirt. Embers shot off the board and into the air, slightly singeing his arm. He dropped to his knees, his eyes watering. He slammed his fist into the ground. It hit a rock, and cut the side of his hand open.
All his friends are dead, every last one of them. His family was killed, his friends were killed, and even a few people that got in the way were killed. His eyes were in tears, and his vision blurred. The smoking house began to die down as a large stream of water splashed over him onto the house. He could hear a man walking up behind him, and rested his hand on Cain’s shoulder. “Come on, let’s get you out of here,” the man said in his yellow fireman jacket. Cain was lifted onto his feet, and he walked to an ambulance to be checked up on.
A few minutes later, a nurse came up to him, “So, wanna explain what happened here?” she said checking his heart rate.
Cain wanted to think of something that would satisfy the question. Though he didn’t want them to think he was insane. “I had a group of friends over, and we… caught the house on fire. I was the only one that made it out.”
“Really, how’d you do that?” she asked counting to sixty in her head.
Crud, another question, he thought to himself. “An electric circuit blew up, caught the nearby curtain on fire, by the time we realized it… the house was engulfed in flames. It collapsed before anyone could get out but me.” Cain stood up from the ambulance. Blood dripped from his hand.
The nurse lifted his hand. “Your fine, but let me bandage your hand real fast, then you can go.”
FOR A FEW WEEKS HE WAS BEING INTERIGATED FOR MURDER OF HIS FRIENDS, BECAUSE THEY FOUND HIS STORY FALSE. THEY FOUND SLASHES ON A COUPLE OF THE VICTEMS. HE WAS SENT FREE BUT THE COPS KEPT A BETTER EYE ON HIM FROM NOW ON, AND NO ONE TALKED TO HIM THE SAME AT SCHOOL. LATER HE WAS ASSGHNED TO A NEW SCHOOL. THIS TIME, HE MIGHT ACCULLY BE ABLE TO MAKE SOME NEW FRIENDS NOW THAT THOSE BLASTED THINGS ARE GONE…

Cain sat by himself at the lunch table. A beige tray sat in front of him holding a white milk carton, small scoop of green beans, a small, deformed looking, slab of meat, and a small container of yogurt. His face looked disgusted as he picked up the meat with his fork. Brown greasy liquid dripped from it. “What do they serve here?” he said softly to himself. The meat slipped off his fork, and splashed a small amount of the liquid on his white shirt. “Great…”
The school had a uniform policy, a navy blue light jacket with gold buttons on the side, and a collar that wrapped around your neck and buckled a bit to the right of center of the throat. Underneath you were ordered to where a white T-shirt. As for if how you where each item, it doesn’t matter as long as you wear what is ordered to your house the start of school. The pants were similar to the jacket, Navy blue, but didn’t have any belt loops. The shoes were required to be black and dress shoes. It took Cain a little bit to get used to it, but since he came from a boarding school, the whole uniform thing was out of date.
Cain grabbed a napkin that he had and wiped the liquid from his white shirt. As he did so, he saw a flash of black erupt from the ceiling. No way, how’d they follow me? he thought to himself. He sat calmly as he tried to see other glimpses, but none occurred. I’m probably just hallucinating from the memories. He leaned back in his seat, tossed the napkin to the side, and started on his green beans.
