Darkness
I am as black as-
The forest in which the silent wolves
Prowl on a moonless night.
I am as black as-
The darkness that covers-
The icy gaze of the moon.
I am the darkness-
That creeps out from the closet,
That suppresses the children with fear.
I am the shadow-
That casts eerily over the silent town.
I am the death-
Which you gaze upon with your last whimsy effort for breath.
All Alone
I am all alone in this world
no one to laugh with
to cry with
to tell my stories with
you leave me without caring, knowing,or sharing
you pass me by
leaving there to wonder why
you leave me with out a care in the world
you leave leave without a friend by my side
you leave without me.
Lost Love
My love is undying
My heart set afloat
I whisper your name
Longing for mine in return
The room empty
the darkness came flooding in
The whisper never returned
The undying love never matched
The only beat of a heart, was that of my own
I lie waiting
For the one I long for
The years ever passing
Though I still lie in waiting
For the lost love
That never returned home
Unfound Beauty
She hid in the corner
Her hiding place unfound
As she listened to the sounds
The wail if the trumpet
The flutter of the clarinets and Saxes
The twittering of the silver flute and French Horn enter a duet
The buzz of the trombone and Tuba's Low voices
She watched never moving
Never blinking
The conductor standing tall and proud
Leading through the song
Her one wish to be a part of it all
She now looks back on the day
Where she longed for a part
She now sat in the first row
Playing for the girls. who want a part
She now plays in her wish
A part of it all.
