The vampiress seemed a little suprised by the question at first. She had her fun when she got her first kill, but afterwords, reality seem to hit her that this would be the only way to live...for centuries to come.
Her hand traveled up to the back of her neck, where she scratched it lightly before placing it on there, as if for support against her being nervous. She felt her eyes slowly drift down to watch the street pass beneath them, ocassionally thinking of when sunrise would approach. Finally, she began to speak.
"The feeling of it the first hour, when I finally got my first kill, seemed fun only then. But, afterwords I was reminded that the way I used to live would become very different from the I will have to live now." Her eyes traveled up to him as she walked fairly close beside him, thinking of how he felt for the first time. He seems fairly happy now, so maybe it would just take some time for her to get used to it.

Nikki had no idea that the woman was coming her way to talk to her. She was just leaving the club. She had fed yesterday but she realized today that just because she didn't need blood, didn't mean that eventually hearing the heart beats didn't get to you. A wonderfull noise and sometimes it just beckoned for you to reach out and have a taste, but she couldn't not now.
Davion smiled as he looked at her. ''Ah, lingering humanity happens to us all.'' He said. "Actually some vampires never get over it, but most do." He said simply. "Once you have lived long enough, you normally tend to realize what was wrong with your mortal life, as well as the mortals around you and it becomes more how shall I say pleasureable but why do I need to tell you such things you will find out on your own." He said as he looked at her. "So Clea, how was your mortal life?" He asked obviously wanting to get to know her better. It wasn't every day someone met a vampire newley turned.

Clea looked down as she smiled while he spoke, occasionally looking up to look at his face before it looked down toward the street again. 'Yeah, maybe I will like this more. Though now, I can't visit family. They would notice the tan skin turned slightly pale upon me, and soon as the years pass, noticed I haven changed a bit.' A deep sighed escaped from her lips as she tilted her head toward one side. Suddenly, she lifted it up and allowed her vibrant blue gaze to stare back at him. She made a light smile as she shrugged. "Alright I guess. My childhood was fine. Just had my friends to rely on. I never, and still haven't, dated soo..." She paused as she looked away and blushed. "I was fine with that. I spent most of my high school days learning to draw, and when I finally graduated, I moved out. I really wanted to get accepted into this one college, but I was rejected. After that, I figure what use is it now to sign up for anything. So I found a couple jobs and sold most of my drawings. I still have a lot, but I will need to find a new space to draw where I can focus." Hair glistened within the night, moving like waves as her head lifted itself toward the sky. "The room Leo is going to stay in, was the room I would use for drawing sometimes. But I guess now since I will be resting through daylight, I can find another place to draw when night falls. And I suppose another job that deals with night..."
The light thumps of each other's steps echoed within her ears, smiling as she felt calmer and a lot better than when in the bar. "I lived that way for so long." She tightened her fists as her eyes became hard. "Till that good-for-nothing 'male' started bugging me. Slashing my shirts to shreds, I was thankful Leo was around for the jacket. I can still remember the piercing feel of what felt like hot steel stabbing into my neck..." A sigh echoed from her mouth, clutching the jacket closer to her as her eyes slowly regain their soft touch.

Davion watched Clea as she spoke. He noticed when she thought of some things that made her smile, noticed what things made her shift uncomfortably and also realized that some things even angered her. He couldn't help but feel some pity which from this vampire was a rare commodity, and had she been a mortal there wouldn't have been any pity but now she was going to be living an eternity so he could relate.
She would understand what things actually meant in the world after some time, how vulgar and greedy even the nicest of all mortals were. Now not that vampires weren't' the same but they didn't mask it they didn't lie to themselves they came to a realization and eventually enjoyed it. He did, he enjoyed greedily drinking the blood of a human being. The warmth of their blood slipping past his cold lips, the color adding a slight color to his now pale skin. He looked at her. ''You will miss your family longer than you will hate what you have become, it isn't hard to get used to being a vampire." He said. "Though I would love to see your drawings some time." he said looking at her.
"I am sure they are beautiful if they came from a mind such as yours." He said and looked down to her. "Come on." he said cupping his hand on her face gently and lifting her gaze to his. "I like seeing those eyes, and what they mask behind them, you are a deep young woman." He said. "One of the few youth who hold so many thoughts and feelings very intelligent." He was used to seeing what eyes held, maybe it was the long life at looking in someones last stare before their death that did it to him but he could read eyes very well. "Maybe you could come out to my home sometime." He said. "I have a nice garden that you could draw in."

She sighed slightly, not wanting to think of her family at the moment. As she drifted in and out of the words spoken by Davion, she couldn't help her smile that formed at the thought of seeing her drawings. She rubbed her arm as she looked away and whispered, "One day I suppose."
Then, to her shock, she was stopped by his hands gently placed upon her face and allowed it to lift so she could meet his eyes. This time, a deeper toned blushed formed on her face as she listened silently. When finished, she placed one of her hands upon his. "One day I would to go to you house," she whispered.

Davion smiled when he saw her blush he knew it was awkward for her, he was used to awkward moments and he loved to see how someone would react under pressure such as this. As if she had passed a test he smiled. "Of course it would be some day you just met me right." Obviously this answer of hers throughly made him happy. She had some modesty in her, he did grow tired of woman, mortal or vampire falling for him to easily.
It was good if you wanted a quick night in their bed but for an actual conversation, for a friend and possibly more, he wanted something slower. A game of sorts. He let his hands drop so that they could continue walking. "Now any where specific or would you just like to walk. There is of course about an hour before we have to go our separate ways, would hate to be caught out in the sunlight." He said.

"I suppose just walking would be fine. If we go anywhere in particular, there is probability of us loosing track of time and stuck some place as we wait for the sun to set," she said, allowing herself to turn and walk beside him once more. She started humming a little tune that made her feel a bit happier in thought as she continued her gaze at the sky, watching as clouds were becoming slight visible, stars began to dim, and the dark sky started to change its hue.
Then, Leo came to mind. 'Pray tell me he made it to the house,' she thought, figuring that he just might do something idiotic. 'And I swear if he dared to try and enter my room....' She dis-continued that thought so as to not go into detail of the pain she woud give him.
"Hmm..." she sighed, looking down at her fingers where she started to twiddle with her fairly long, black nails. A smile broke her features as she thought of something, which caused her to put her hands into the jacket's pockets, glancing up towards Davion.

ooc: kays.
A girl with raven black, straight, layered hair walked down the silent street. She was around tha age of 21. She was wearing a tight blue t-shirt and tight black jeans, a studded belt and chains of all sizes hanging off. Her hair dropped into her face since it was parted to the side, which put half her face in total darkness. Her right eye sparkled a amethyst type color, and hidden behind her bangs there was a sparkling Emerald type colored one. She had on thick black eyeliner and caking mascara, as well as her black converse. She looked up when she saw a black cat streak by her and a dim street light made her narrow her eyes slightly. She continued to walk towards the near by park in silence. She came under a brighter street light and now you could tell the girl was unusually pale, but no one would ever guess Why. I mean everyone seemed to be pale now-a-days. She reached the park and slipped onto a cold stone bench, leaning her head back to look up at the pale moon, that she knew was sure to dissapear in a matter of an hour or so because it was close to dawn.

He nodded in agreement and walked with her. He to noticed the sky and was paying attention to time. He looked at her. "Hmmm? That sounds intriguing." He said taking a few more steps as if she would say something with out provocation. "So tell me what is so interesting. What is on your mind Clea?" he asked.
He found that he honestly was curious to see what she had to say. Simply because he wanted to know. Or rather he was just the curious type.

Leo's eyes looked toward the sky as he still roamed within the streets. He had a few distractions along the way and he knew he had to get to the apartment quickly. If Clea was to get there before him, she would be pissed beyond belief at the sun's approach /and/ being without the key to her house.
He allowed his fingers to brush through his hair, worried thoughts playing through his head. 'Okay, I am going to be room mates with a vampire! Eh, the probability of us seeing each other during day or night might be low.' He shrugged slightly at the thought, figuring during the day he would get a job and she could take a night one. "Eh," he sighed, quickly turning down a street and walking through the pale glow of the lights. Dark eyes remained located on the sidewalk, only to take a side glance every so often at the approaching features of a park. Still keeping a quick pace, he only stopped when he realized something abnormal. Turning his head slightly, his tanned hand went to the back of his neck, feeling slightly at ease. 'What's she doing up so late...? Wait, what is she doing?' He looked in the same direction as her's though the mortal stood there dumbly, wondering just how many dead ones walk among the humans.
Clea turned her gaze back toward Davion, shrugging her shoulder's slightly at the question. "Wasn't really much. I was just thinking about when I was younger and taking care of my sisters...and my mom." She still smiled, though something missing was held within her gaze. "When I was in the second grade, I was already taking care of my baby sisters on my own, while my mom went out to get food, go to a doctor's appointment, or something. Luckily, my grandparents lived in the same city as us, and if things were too much for me, I would just call and my grandmother would come." Pushing her hair out of her face, she continued quietly. "My parent's divorced when I was only in the first grade. I never figure out till we moved to another state and he wasn't with us. Without him, I had to help out as much as I could. Did that till the fourth grade when my mom married again." Though something was still amiss, that even was held in her voice at the mention of her father, she continued with a smile. "Just the memories of my sisters and I playing, and as I became older, would help them out with things. I dunno... I guess I miss it. Even when I would take them to the mall, though they drove me crazy."
She looked toward the chains that hung to her pants, rattling silently upon her thighs. She still continued to smile with a laid-back gaze now forming into her blue hazes.

Tuska sighed and looked around the club then spotted Nikki, which wasn't hard since most of the people in the club were gone. She walked towards her then smiled a friendly but hateful smile at her "hello,I would just like to thank you for getting rid of those idiots for me,so since the sun is almost up would you like to get a coffee?" she asked.

Davion looked at her. "Sounds like you had a lot of reponsibilty." He said and smiled. "I can tell it must have been hard." He could see some things. "Difficult and a little depressing but it did help you become the lovely young woman you are now.'' He said. "How about I walk you to your apartment." He said. "The sun is going to come up in a little while, and I would love to know where you live, so that maybe I could stop by and pick you up tommrow?" He asked.
Nikki looked at her, she wasn't stupid Tuska wasn't happy that she got rid of them. "No you know too much alchol, worked all night really tired, Thanks for the offer though maybe some other time." She said knowing she had to get home before the sun came up. "I really didn't mean to get rid of them, I must be a worse dancer than I thought is all." She laughed and started to walk off

Her name? Could she actually say she had one if no one, including herself, had spoken it in so long? Raine. Yes Raine as in if spelled without the 'e' it was the water that fell from the sky. And if you dared make fun of it, well you wouldn't be living for long and she's make sure of that personally. Why had she come out so close to sunrise? It had been foolish. But then again she had wanted to get out of that huge, dim, lonely apartment. One thing Raine had learned when she had been first turned was that it got lonely. She still wasn't used to it, she refused to ajust to the loneliness of this new life simply because she despised it. She had many opertunites to join covens that she had passed through in a few other town but she had turne them all down. If she joined a coven that would mean being trapped, and staying in one spot.
