Frankie watched the two girls talking by the tree. She couldn't make out what they were saying, but she wasn't really interested. She saw the one girl show the other her drawing, that a few minutes ago, she had lost and changed her form to retrieve it. That was cool, another shifter. Although she couldn't turn into animals like the girl, she could change her appearance to portray any human characteristic. Sometimes she even freaked people out by walking up to them as them. Changing her hair to resemble the girl's, she picked up her cellphone, but didn't dial it.

Nysa gave a small smile, though she was a bit embarassed. She hadn't exactly lived the life of normal child. She never went to public schools, she never played sports or hung out with friends. It was a bit sad for her, because she really longed to enjoy what a normal kid was to enjoy.
"Whatever works..." Nysa said.

"Okay lets check out the campus, I can show you how to play basketball sometime, or learn to swim." She smiled. "That is neccisary." She said with a smile and standing up to go to the door, to head outside.

Nysa nodded as they went out of the cafeteria. As they walked, she looked at her. "What is your 'gift'?" she asked quietly.

Isabell looked at her. "Well, I am an empath." She said. "That and I can control the weather." She said smiling. "How about you?" She asked. She seemed to have a permanate smile on her face as she talked.

Tobias figured to head up to the roof to play some basketball, or maybe soccer, depending on what was going on up there, before turning in, as it were.

Nysa looked at the ground. "It's complicated," was all she said. She continued walking, and she looked at everything around her. This school was amazing.

Aonabe let out a small sigh and left the cafeteria quietly. She walked down the corridors of the school, eyes focused on the floor. She came upon the campus doors and went outside, into the mid-day air. She glanced back up at the school before heading towards the lake. Aonabe emerged into the cool shadows of the trees that surrounded the lake and sat underneath one.
Tears started to blur her vision as she sat, leaning against the trunk of the tree. She pulled her legs up to her chest and wrapped her arms around it. Sure, she was acting like a child, but she could careless. Her feathery friend landed on a limb above her and squawked. Aonabe only ignored it.

Ae'oko looked silently at the face of Hex while she commented and seemed to form the last part into a question. "I am not sure of how much talent I have.... But I thank you for the compliment," she quietly said as she slowly put the paper back within her drawing pad. Now, when the girl spoke of having to leave, Ae'oko found that at least her and this girl didn't reject each other as she might have expected. Her pale lips slowly turned into a smile of friendship as she slowly allowed one of her tan hands to grasp hold of Hex's, slowly giving her a shake back.
"It was nice to meet you too," she replied back, while her chestnut eyes studied the face of the girl before her. Slowly, she let go of the hand and started to turn around. But before she left, she turned her head slightly to see the girl from the side of her right eye. "Oh, by the way. I am Ae'oko." And with that, the girl started to walk off, her gaze just then noticing a female walk out of the school doors, a look of sadness written upon her features as she walked off.
Ae'oko tilted her head towards one side, allowing herself to take one of the streaks of ruby hairs upon her head, and twirl it around one of her fingers as she silently thought. Her light gaze slowly flicked around the campus, looking at the students whom were out in their own groups, or going solo doing their own things. As she done so, she also noticed another girl, Frankie, watching her and Hex a moment before. Her lips formed a light smile while her head nodded slightly, allowing the black and red parts of her hair to fall before her face before she pushed back behind her head, heading off towards the lake to see what was wrong with the girl she watched a moment ago.
'Ae'oko, you are starting to turn soft,' she argued within herself, while another part of her said something else. 'No, she's not going soft. She is just trying to open up more. She is still looking for some friends, is that such a bad thing?' "Argh," she whispered angerly as her head shook slowly, stopping the argument while she slowly walked over towards Aonabe.

Kayin entered back into his haven. Away from all the people and the noise. Alone again. He changed back into his damp swimsuit and sat next to the pool's edge. Resting his feet in the water. Dangling them ans spinning them in a figure eight. "I'm going to try this. I've got to do it."
He closed his eyes. Breathing deep and slowly like he was in deep meditation. Kayin took a step on the water. The sound of what seemed like class cracking emitted from the water. The water was quickly turning into ice. With each step Kayin took it extended further and further.
Opening his eyes just as he reached the middle of the pool. He smiled and yelled, "Yes! I did it!" Small jets of water shot into the air as he celebrated his accomplishment. He was unaware of the ice cracking beneath his feet. CRACK. The ice snapped and Kayin fell into the pool.

Isabell looked at her, took a moment and shrugged her shoulders, not getting much of a feeling off of the girl at the moment so she couldn't tell if it was bad thing. ''Ok, you don't have to tell me if you don't want." She smiled. "We can just look around."

Not long after Hex found the director's office, was she sent stumbling out with a class list in her hands, and a smile on her lips...Her eyes were wildly alight, giving her a young, fun-loving look, and her curiocity won over her normally cool, collected nature as she began wandering the school, searching otu each of her future classes, and then heading down into the gym and towards the pool....She'd been told it was one of massive size and depth, and wanted to see such a thing for herself. And so, in she walked, not stopping to think, in her vauge daze, that there might be others enjoying the cool kiss of the water. She entered through the girl's changing room, walking mindlessly towards the pool untill she stopped precariously close to the edge...and looked down..."Ice?" she tilted her head and reached a booted foot out to tap at the surface quietly, brows quirking...

Kayin emerged from the depths of the pool. He took a deep breath of air and let out a gasp. "That wasn't the end result I wanted." he said, "I'll have to try it again." With a wave of his hand the ice slowing disappeared into the water.
With that Kayin pulled himself from the water. His back slightly red from his fall into the pool. As he pulled himself up he saw Hex looking at where the ice once floated. Her words carried over to him. "Yes, my power."

Nysa really just wanted to forget her powers. They were a curse! From them she never had a normal life. She never played basketball, learned to swim or go to the mall with friends!
