"Hm."
She watched him walk away for a brief moment. 'School, if I am guessing right,' she told herself as she looked up at the brightening sky. 'Eh, I doubt we go to the same. Otherwise he probably would've already seen me and Daniel fighting constantly...damn boy knows how to make a scene.'
As she plunged back into her room, she was startled to see Daniel sitting on her bed, his shirt off and laying lazily over his waist as he stared at the ceiling.
"You done talking to your food?" he questioned rather darkly as she stood nearby, arms crossed as she angrily glared at him.
"Get off my bed you scumbag," she snarled, keeping her talons un-sheathed in case she had to use force to make him leave.
"He's a meat boy, Lunes," the boy mumbled as his silver-gray eyes found a way to her body. He observed her for a brief moment before finally tossing his shirt to the side as he began to get up, his dark boots thumping slightly on the ground before his dark-covered legs began to hold his body up.
"So I can't talk to a mere human?" She snapped, turning her back on him as she began to sort through the clothes that scattered the ground.
"He can't love you like the males in the pack can... Not like I can," he whispered, walking over to her as he placed a hand gently on her shoulder. He smiled as she tensed, knowing that she was either going to fight or ignore it. He was surprised that she just ignored it.
"Who was to say that he likes me? And if he were to care about me...if he were to love me, how would I know his love is better than your's, Daniel?" Her hand reached up to brush his off her shoulder, her gaze never looking at him. It seemed to be full of both hatred and hurt... Very few males in this pack seemed like they had pure love. It was always screwing one over till they found another. But her dad wasn't like that...she remembered how much he loved her mother. Some of her uncles were even like him, and she also knew others that were like him as well.
But most of the pack consisted of those like Daniel. Those that were hard to tie down and keep... She wasn't in the mood for such a challenge.
"I always loved you," he whispered as he leaned down toward her, resting his chin on her shoulder.
"Really?" She turned her head slightly, fooling him to make it seem like she was weakening. She watched him smile, and she smiled in return. But her's was dark, and it soon became apparent that she still wasn't falling for him.
"Is that way you are messing with my own mother?"
Suddenly she allowed her hand to fly toward his face, dealing him a heavy blow as her fist met his cheek.
"Get out of my room." Her voice was firm as she watched him sprawl back, his eyes both shocked and furious.
