As he looked back in, Kayin appeared right before Tobias's eyes.
"Damn!"
He walked into the room and found where Kayin was sitting.
"Hey!" he said, wrinkling his brow," Where were you? Don't tell me you cut the whole first day."

"I was at the pool Tobias. Where else would I be?" Replied Kayin. He poked his food with his fork and grimanced. "Of course you already know what that means." Swimming was an escape from reality. School didn't come to mind when he stepped into the cool water. "Besides it doesn't matter. We never have work on the first day of school."
Kayin smirked at Tobias, "So how was your first day of school?"

"I guess you have a point. It was dull as a mother. I slept through science and English, but math was almost interesting. Don't....think you missed....anything, except book passing-out in a couple of subjects. I don't recommend skipping tomarrow, though: they'll probably start up their units and what not."

Nysa slowly poked at her food. Yes, she was hungry, but she wasn't at the same time. People would probably think she was starving herself the way she ate! She was as skinny as a pin, and she rarely ate a thing!
Nysa thought about her long trip here. How long had it taken again? About a week or two. but that was fine. She made it and that was all that mattered. She looked down at her sandwich with the corner nibbled off it and sighed. She wasn't about to get used to this school...

"Maybe...it all depends on what happens." Kayin starting eating his meal. It wasn't bad despite its horrible look. "Tomorrow I'll just say I was sick. They'll never know the truth." Kayin took a drink from his luke warm drink and frowned. He gripped it and cooled it down with his power. "Hey Tobias, you get a little control over your powers over break?"

Isabell sighed as the girl walked away. Who could blame her though she might want some time to herself. She went through the line and got her lunch. She didn't seem to be too bothered by the looks of it. Maybe it was because of her normally over optimistic attitude.
She looked around. Now where to sit? There weren't many options people wise, it was all empty and Isabell didn't like to sit by herself. Felt odd, and unusual for her. She noticed two boys talking, no why interrupt them. Than there was the girl sitting there, but not really eating. Isabell smiled, perfect.
She walked over to her table. (Nysa ) "Mind if I sit here?" She asked automatically seeing the condition she seemed to be in but tryed to not show too much she had pity for her. Some people didn't like to be treated so.

Nysa only nodded, and continued to poke at her food. She looked at her again, then back at her food. 'Is she really going to sit there?' she thought quietly. 'Apparently so...'

Isabell sat down and smiled. ''Is the food that bad?" She asked but she didn't sound serious as she watched the girl play with her food. Before she too took a bite of her lunch and found it not to be bad.

"That seems to be going around today.'' This commant was more to herself than to the girl. "My name is Isabell, it is my first year here, how about you?" She asked trying to be freindly, before she took a bite of her lunch waiting for the reply.

Kayin laughed at Tobias' enthusiasm, "Good! Maybe this time you won't lose control and put someone's eye out. Mainly my own." Many incidents of students losing control of their powers happened last year. That in turn caused the school to re-enforce walls and rebuild part of the school.
"Just make sure you keep practicing....when I'm not around."

Isabell looked at her, blinked and got a blank moment. "Uh, let me check." She said not being able to remember. She pulled out a paper and looked at where her room number was. "32, what is yours?" She asked. "Also mind if I ask your name?" She notticed that this girl too seemed shy, that was her luck today but she didn't mind.

Nysa smiled. "Same here! And I'm Nysa," she said, holding out her hand. She liked this girl.... She was nice! And she waslucky to have her as a dorm mate!
